UE Students to Make Presentation on Decline of Monarch Butterflies and Milkweed
Evansville, IN (03/19/2019) — Students from the University of Evansville will be discussing the "Decline of the Monarch Butterfly and Milkweed Populations" on Saturday, March 30, at John James Audubon State Park. The presentation begins at 2:00 p.m. in the Audubon Museum Theatre. The students will focus on the impact that the decline of native plants, specifically milkweed, has on the environment, and the importance of maintaining native pollinator gardens.
Free milkweed plants will be given out to attendees of the presentation.
