University of Evansville Establishes International Partnership with Medicaps University in India

Evansville, Ind. (08/05/2026) — The University of Evansville (UE) is partnering with Medicaps University in Indore, India, creating a strategic pathway that will expand international educational opportunities and strengthen academic collaboration for students and faculty at both institutions.

The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration in student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, academic program development, conferences and workshops, and the sharing of educational resources.

"International collaboration is an important part of delivering a well-rounded education and global partnerships only enrich the educational experience by connecting students and faculty with diverse perspectives and opportunities for collaboration," said Dr. Suresh Immanuel, Schroeder Family Dean of the College of Business and Engineering, Associate Provost for Academic Partnerships, and Professor of Civil Engineering. "Our partnership with Medicaps University creates new pathways for innovation and academic excellence while preparing our students to thrive in a globally connected workforce."

Under the agreement, the two universities will work together to develop joint academic initiatives, credit transfer opportunities, faculty and student exchanges, and research partnerships. Students from both institutions will also have opportunities to study abroad and participate in international learning experiences that enhance their academic and professional development.
