The University of Evansville offers a unique and valuable Teaching Fellows Scholarship program each year which awards 10 students with a highly prestigious scholarship towards achieving the degree in Education. Teaching Fellows finalists are carefully selected based on an essay outlining their academic and professional interest in teaching. Finalists then complete an interview with selection committee members before awards are offered. Teaching Fellows are mentored by faculty, alumni, and other teaching partners, which is a valuable resource for students entering the field as new teachers.

Ambassadors are selected through an interview process aimed at capturing their love of the UESOE and their personal goals in the important field of education.

Students in the School of Education at the University of Evansville were recognized as Aspiring Educators members from the Indiana State Teachers Association (ISTA). The ISTA Aspiring Educators members are undergraduate and graduate students at Indiana colleges and universities pursuing education degrees or planning to enter the education profession.
