UE Graduates Enter Workforce Across Indiana, Nation with 97% Career Outcome Rate
Evansville, Ind. (08/26/2026) — The University of Evansville's Class of 2025 is making an impact well beyond campus, with graduates entering careers and continuing their education across Indiana and the country. New data from the University's Center for Career Development shows that 97 percent of UE's Class of 2025 was employed or pursuing further education, demonstrating the career readiness of graduates and the University's role in preparing talent for today's workforce.
The outcomes represent graduates who completed their degrees in July 2024, December 2024, May 2025 and June 2025. Career information was available for 96 percent of the 461 graduates, providing a comprehensive look at the next steps taken by the Class of 2025.
The Class of 2025 also demonstrates the role UE graduates play in Indiana's workforce. 62 percent of employed graduates remained in Indiana, while 74 percent of graduates pursuing further education continued their studies at Indiana institutions. When they entered UE in fall 2021, 60 percent of the Class of 2025 came from Indiana.
"This is a tremendous reflection of the preparation our students receive at the University of Evansville," said UE President Christopher M. Pietruszkiewicz. "Our responsibility does not end when a student walks across the stage at commencement. We want our graduates to leave here prepared to build careers, serve their communities and contribute to the workforce. Seeing so many members of the Class of 2025 remain in Indiana and pursue careers across such a broad range of industries is a powerful reflection of the impact a University of Evansville education can have - not only on our graduates, but on the communities and organizations they become part of."
The Class of 2025 entered a broad range of industries, including healthcare, education, business, engineering, technology, sports, the arts and government. In total, the outcomes report identifies 182 organizations employing UE graduates full-time.
The University of Evansville's career outcome rate is based on information collected through graduating student surveys, academic department updates, the National Student Clearinghouse, and information provided by students, employers, staff, parents and publicly available online sources.
