Local students enrolled at the University of Evansville will study abroad this summer at Harlaxton College, UE's British campus near Grantham, England. The following local residents are among 35 UE students who began classes today at Harlaxton, housed in a 100-room Victorian manor in the English countryside:

Local residents enrolled at the University of Evansville are spending part of the summer studying abroad in Costa Rica. The following individuals are among 10 UE students enrolled in Tropical Ecology of Costa Rica, a semester-long course with a summer travel component that runs from May 7-23. The University of Evansville is proud to announce that several local students were members of winning teams in the inaugural Evansville Startup Weekend competition. The 54-hour event took place February 24-26 at the University of Southern Indiana College of Business. Startup Weekend brought together developers, designers, marketers, product managers, and startup enthusiasts to share ideas, form teams, build products, and launch startups. On Friday night, nearly 40 ideas were pitched, and 10 were selected as finalists. More than 70 participants formed 10 teams that worked through the weekend to develop their projects and products and to come up with a five-minute presentation that would wow a panel of local executives.
