University of Evansville Representatives Invited to Present at International Conference in Switzerland
EVANSVILLE, Ind. / LAUSANNE, Switzerland (06/10/2026) — Three representatives from the University of Evansville's (UE) Emily M. Young Mental Health Clinic have been invited to present at the 24th International Conference of the International Society for Psychological and Social Approaches to Psychosis (ISPS), taking place July 6-8 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Dr. Jennifer Braun, Director, UE Emily M. Young Mental Health Clinic and Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology, student clinician Dylan Davis, and Physician Assistant and Clinical Instructor Katherine Hulsey, will participate in a 90-minute symposium highlighting the Clinic's interdisciplinary approach to serving individuals with complex mental health needs. Dr. Baun will chair the symposium, while Davis and Hulsey will present on their respective roles in patient care and clinical training.
Conference organizers invited the team to share the Clinic's collaborative interdisciplinary model, which combines faculty supervision, student training, comprehensive clinical care, and integrated healthcare services delivered through the Clinic's physician assistant.
"This invitation is a tremendous honor for our team and reflects the innovative work being done through the Emily M. Young Mental Health Clinic and broader University," said Dr. Braun. "We are excited to share our interdisciplinary approach to care and training with colleagues from around the world while representing the University of Evansville on an international stage."
Opened in fall 2023 and welcoming its first patients in early 2024, the Emily M. Young Mental Health Clinic is community-based outpatient clinic committed to providing accessible, high-quality mental health care to Evansville and the surrounding region.
The Clinic offers individual and group therapy, psychological assessment and testing, and medication management services for individuals ages five and older. Staffed by experienced licensed professionals, the Clinic also serves as a training site for advanced doctoral students in the Koch Family Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology Program. All services provided by student clinicians are delivered under the supervision of licensed psychologists, ensuring high standards of care while preparing the next generation of mental health professionals.
