Statement from University of Evansville
Evansville, IN (11/02/2026) — Noah Alatza, chief communications officer and spokesperson for the University of Evansville, issued the following statement regarding an incident at an on-campus fraternity house over the weekend:
"The University of Evansville is aware of an incident involving a Public Safety Officer who was injured while responding to an altercation at a fraternity house in the early morning hours of October 31.
The University is cooperating with the Evansville Police Department as it investigates the incident. The safety of our campus community remains a top priority, and we will provide additional information as appropriate."
