UE Theatre, WNIN, Evansville Wartime Museum Partner on 2026 Wartime Mystery

Evansville, Ind. (04/08/2026) — After the sold-out success of last year's mystery, the University of Evansville Theatre travelling performance troupe, the Rogue and Peasant Aces, is partnering with WNIN once again on their 2026 MURDER MYSTERY, written by UET students Alyssa Meadows '26, Ethan Santiago '26, and Elizabeth Wusterhausen '28.

This one-night-only, immersive, 21+ show will take place at 5:00 p.m. on April 11, 2026, at the Evansville Wartime Museum.

Get ready for a night of excitement, intrigue, and some good ol' detective work. Expect to immerse yourself in a thrilling World War II storyline filled with characters and secrets to unravel. You'll interact with other guests, gather clues, and work together to solve the mystery. And don't forget-costumes are a must! Dressing up adds to the fun. Get ready to laugh, think on your feet, and enjoy an unforgettable experience with your fellow sleuths.

While solving the mystery at the Evansville Wartime Museum, guests will also have the opportunity to explore the museum's exhibits. Come join us for a new murder to solve!

The aim of the Rogue and Peasant Aces is to provide accessible theatre experiences for individuals who otherwise may not have exposure to the arts. Last fall, the troupe's production of Macbeth toured various public locations throughout the area. WNIN Murder Mystery 2026 is written by Alyssa Meadows, a senior theatre performance major from Louisville, Ky.; Ethan Santiago, a senior design and technology major from Belton, Texas; and Elizabeth Wusterhausen, a sophomore theatre performance major from Austin, Texas.

Luis Alejandro Gonzalez, a sophomore theatre performance major from Midland, Texas, serves as director. Gisele Lowery, a first-year theatre performance major from Richmond, Texas, is assistant director. Daphne Wheeler, a junior theatre performance major from Star, Idaho, serves as story supervisor. Elizabeth Wusterhausen also serves as character wrangler. Sam Young, a first-year design and technology major from O'Fallon, Ill., is sound designer. Corin Dennis, a first-year theatre performance major from Spring, Texas, is costume designer. Londyn Jackson, a first-year theatre performance major from Danville, Ky., is hair and makeup designer. Konner Alan Staley, a sophomore theatre management major from Katy, Texas, serves as project manager.
