MEDIA ADVISORY: University of Evansville to Hold Grand Opening Ceremony for Lincoln Commons

Evansville, Ind. (07/30/2024) — Media Advisory from University of Evansville.

WHO: President Christopher M. Pietruszkiewicz, Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry, Dean of Students Dr. Rachel S. Carpenter, Student Government Association President Benton Simpson, and other University and community leaders.

WHAT: The University of Evansville will hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony at the site of the new Lincoln Commons student apartment complex. The four-story building located on campus at the corner of Weinbach Avenue and Lincoln Avenue will house approximately 123 upperclassman students beginning in the Fall 2024 semester. Tours of the new facility will be provided after the ceremony.

WHEN: 11:00 a.m. CDT on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

WHERE: 2004 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714.
