UE Hosting 4-Day Design Thinking Institute for K-12 and College Educators

Evansville, IN (07/06/2022) — Educators at the K-12 and collegiate levels are invited to attend the Elevate Design Thinking Summer Institute, hosted by the University of Evansville (UE). The 4-day workshop is offered at no cost to educators. Space is limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to register soon.

The Elevate Design Thinking Summer Institute will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day from July 24-27. This program will equip educators with the ability to transform classrooms into creative problem-solving powerhouses. Attendees will learn how to incorporate design thinking, changemaking, and innovative creative problem-solving skills into their own class, regardless of discipline or grade level. The cohort will also build a network of innovative educators and help infuse problem-solving activities into existing curriculum.

All resources, workshop materials, food, and accommodations will be provided at no cost to educators. Hosted by the University's Center for Innovation and Change, the workshop is made possible by the Elevate Ventures High Education Grant.
