University of Evansville Student Hilary Waltz of Huntingburg to Present Original Research at National Conference

The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Hilary Waltz of Huntingburg, IN, has been selected to present original research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). The conference will take place April 11-13 at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Waltz, a graduate of Jasper High School who is majoring in History, will present "The Savage Indian?: 19th Century American Attitudes Toward Natives and the Work of George Catlin."

Waltz is among 11 UE students who were selected to participate in NCUR, which promotes undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study. The annual conference gives undergraduate scholars a forum to share the results of their work through posters, presentations, performances, and works of art.
