University of Evansville Student Caitlin Smith of Troy to Present Original Research at National Conference

The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Caitlin Smith of Troy, OH, has been selected to present original research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). The conference will take place April 11-13 at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Smith, a graduate of Troy High School who is majoring in History, will present "'Gallant Allies in Europe': The German Strategy of the Irish Separatists of 1916."

Smith is among 11 UE students who were selected to participate in NCUR, which promotes undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study. The annual conference gives undergraduate scholars a forum to share the results of their work through posters, presentations, performances, and works of art.
