Approximately 100 volunteers from the University of Evansville, including Harris, performed community service at four different locations. Harris, majoring in Major Discovery, volunteered at YMCA Caldwell Community Outreach Center.

"Social responsibility with compassion is a hallmark of the University of Evansville experience, and last year, UE students contributed more than 19,000 hours of service to the Evansville community," said Brian Conner, UE assistant director of residence life and coordinator of UE's Day of Caring volunteers. "We were thrilled to have Bo Harris on board for this year's Day of Caring. Bo's time, hard work, and willingness to serve truly made a difference to local nonprofits in need."
