Rebekah Calahan of Belton Named Outstanding Foreign Language Student at University of Evansville

Rebekah Calahan, a resident of Belton, TX, has been named the 2012-13 Outstanding Student in Chinese by the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Evansville. Calahan is a graduate of Belton High School who is majoring in French and International Studies.

One Outstanding Student was selected in each of the six foreign languages offered at UE: French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese. Faculty members chose the winners for their exceptional accomplishments in language studies during the 2012-13 academic year. Winners were recognized at a department reception on Monday, April 22.
