Lindsey Meyer Named Outstanding Future Educator

The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Lindsey Meyer, a resident of Huntingburg, IN, has been selected as an Outstanding Future Educator by the School of Education faculty.

Meyer, a graduate of Southridge High School who is majoring in Elementary Education, received the recognition from the Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. The awards were presented at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana, on Friday, April 12.

"We're proud to honor Lindsey Meyer as one of the top student teachers in the state of Indiana," said Chuck Watson, chair of UE's School of Education. "We pride ourselves on preparing professional, skilled, and caring teachers, and Lindsey has exemplified these traits."
