Lilli Hokama of Denver Studies Abroad in Sweden

The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Denver native Lilli Hokama, a graduate of Littleton High School, will spend the Spring 2012 semester studying abroad in Uppsala, Sweden. Hokama, who is majoring in Theatre, will study at Uppsala University in a program run by the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE).

"At the University of Evansville, we're committed to providing students such as Lilli Hokama with life-transforming educational experiences abroad," said Earl Kirk, UE director of study abroad. "By spending a semester in Sweden, Lilli will gain cultural awareness, unforgettable memories, and a truly global education."

The University of Evansville is a recognized leader in study abroad. In the 2011 Open Doors report, the Institute of International Education ranked UE in the nation's top 15 master's-granting institutions for study abroad participation. Approximately half of UE graduates study abroad during their college careers, and Hokama is one of 136 UE students abroad for the Spring 2012 semester.
