Kristen Sholander of Independence Named Outstanding Foreign Language Student at University of Evansville

Kristen Sholander, a resident of Independence, has been named the 2011-12 Outstanding Student in Spanish by the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Evansville. Sholander is majoring in Pre Physical Therapy.

One Outstanding Student was selected in each of the six foreign languages offered at UE: French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese. Faculty members chose the winners for their exceptional accomplishments in language studies during the 2011-12 academic year.
