Justin Garner of Robards Inducted into National Neuroscience Honor Society at the University of Evansville

The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Justin Garner of Robards, KY, has been inducted into the newly formed Indiana Alpha chapter of Nu Rho Psi, the national honor society in neuroscience.

Garner, a Neuroscience major, officially became a Nu Rho Psi member during an induction ceremony held Tuesday, February 26 in UE's Eykamp Hall.

To be eligible for membership in Nu Rho Psi, students must be a neuroscience major or minor, have completed at least three semesters of university coursework, have completed at least nine semester hours of neuroscience-related courses, and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher, as well as a minimum GPA of 3.5 in neuroscience courses.

Garner was among 17 students and two faculty members selected to join the first class of Nu Rho Psi inductees at the University of Evansville.

Nu Rho Psi was founded in 2006 by the Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience. The University of Evansville holds the honor society's 29th charter nationwide and the first in Indiana.
