2011 Oct 17

The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Hilary Waltz of Huntingburg is completing an internship this fall. Waltz, a graduate of Jasper High School who is majoring in History and Art History, is currently an intern at Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science.

The Evansville Museum features comprehensive collections in art, history, anthropology, and science, including paintings and graphic works from the 16th century to the present, contemporary and traditional sculpture, a hands-on science center, and a planetarium.

"Students in UE's Department of Archaeology and Art History receive not only an excellent liberal arts education, but also important opportunities for field studies and internships," said Jennie Ebeling, associate professor of archaeology and chair of the Department of Archaeology and Art History. "By completing an internship, students such as Hilary Waltz will gain professional experience while using their academic knowledge to benefit the Evansville community."
