Gallatin Resident Samantha Pitt Inducted into Mortar Board at the University of Evansville

Samantha Pitt, a resident of Gallatin, TN, has been inducted into the University of Evansville's chapter of Mortar Board, a national honor society.

Mortar Board recognizes college students for their exemplary scholarship, leadership, and service. Each inductee must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Pitt, a graduate of Gallatin High School who is majoring in Mathematics, officially became a Mortar Board member during a ceremony in UE's Ridgway University Center on Monday, April 16.
