2012 Jan 6

The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Zebulon native Elita Intini, a graduate of East Wake Academy, will spend the Spring 2012 semester studying abroad in Granada, Spain. Intini, who is majoring in Nursing, will study at the University of Granada in a program run by International Studies Abroad (ISA).

"At the University of Evansville, we're committed to providing students such as Elita Intini with life-transforming educational experiences abroad," said Earl Kirk, UE director of study abroad. "By spending a semester in Spain, Elita will gain cultural awareness, unforgettable memories, and a truly global education."

The University of Evansville is a recognized leader in study abroad. In the 2011 Open Doors report, the Institute of International Education ranked UE in the nation's top 15 master's-granting institutions for study abroad participation. Approximately half of UE graduates study abroad during their college careers, and Intini is one of 136 UE students abroad for the Spring 2012 semester.
