Caitlyn Mumm of Janesville Studies Abroad in Spain

University of Evansville student Caitlyn Mumm, a resident of Janesville, WI, will spend the Spring 2013 semester studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain. Mumm is majoring in International Studies.

"At the University of Evansville, we're committed to providing students such as Caitlyn Mumm with life-transforming educational experiences abroad," said Earl Kirk, UE director of study abroad. "By spending a semester in Spain, Caitlyn will gain cultural awareness, unforgettable memories, and a truly global education."

The University of Evansville is a national leader in study abroad. In the 2012 Open Doors report, the Institute of International Education ranked UE 12th in the nation for study abroad participation among master's-granting institutions. More than half of UE students study abroad during their college careers, and Mumm is one of 97 UE students abroad in 13 countries for the Spring 2013 semester.
