2012 Mar 16

The University of Evansville is proud to announce that artwork by Schaumburg resident Megan Braden, who is majoring in Visual Communication Design, has been selected for the 50th Annual Student Juried Exhibition at UE's Melvin Peterson Gallery.

Braden's A Filling Fall (ink and colored pencil) is among 97 pieces chosen for the exhibition from 230 total submitted entries.

The juror for the exhibition was Susan Bryant, who recently completed a photography exhibition, Presence and Absence, in the Melvin Peterson Gallery. Bryant is a professor of art at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, where she has taught photography for the past 29 years. Her work, including photography that utilizes 19th century processes, has been widely exhibited across the United States in solo and juried exhibitions.

Braden's work will remain on display through April 6.
