Rachel Lawrence of Bartonville Presents Paper at National History Conference

The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Rachel Lawrence of Bartonville recently presented a paper at the biennial conference of Phi Alpha Theta, a national history honor society. Lawrence presented "Vlad the Impaler: Incidents of an Unlikely Idol."

Lawrence, a graduate of Limestone Community High School majoring in History, was one of eight UE students whose papers were accepted for presentation. UE associate professor of history Annette Parks, a member of Phi Alpha Theta's national council, accompanied the group.

Phi Alpha Theta is an American honor society for undergraduate and graduate students and professors of history. The society's 2012 biennial conference took place January 3-7 in Orlando, Florida.
