Newburgh Resident Alexander-James Ogundimu Honored in University of Evansville Student Writing Contest

Alexander-James Ogundimu, a resident of Newburgh, IN, has been recognized for creative work in the University of Evansville's Student Writing Contest. Ogundimu received third place ($50) in the Creative Nonfiction category for "Sticks and Stones."

Contest winners were selected by Department of Creative Writing faculty and announced April 19 at the department's annual Senior Reading and awards presentation in UE's Melvin Peterson Gallery.

Ogundimu, a graduate of homeschool, is majoring in Creative Writing.
