Leah Thomas of Denison Presents Paper at National History Conference

The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Leah Thomas of Denison recently presented a paper at the biennial conference of Phi Alpha Theta, a national history honor society. Thomas presented "The Art of 18th Century Dining."

Thomas, a graduate of Texoma Christian School majoring in Archaeology, was one of eight UE students whose papers were accepted for presentation. UE associate professor of history Annette Parks, a member of Phi Alpha Theta's national council, accompanied the group.

Phi Alpha Theta is an American honor society for undergraduate and graduate students and professors of history. The society's 2012 biennial conference took place January 3-7 in Orlando, Florida.
