Jennifer Rupprecht of Evansville to Study Education at England's Harlaxton College

2012 Jun 15

Jennifer Rupprecht, a resident of Evansville, IN, will study abroad this summer at Harlaxton College, the University of Evansville's British campus near Grantham, England.

Rupprecht, a student in UE's Master of Science in Education program, is enrolled in the summer course "Educational Collaboration and Leadership in a Global Society." Matthew Knoester, assistant professor of education, will teach the course, which runs from June 23-July 1.

The 10-day course includes site visits to British schools, where UE students will observe classes, tour the school, and meet with faculty and staff to discuss each school's unique educational approaches. The course is designed to give students new perspectives on personal educational leadership, collaboration, cultural and educational issues facing the United States and other nations, and the roles of professional educators in the global society.
